Pastor Scott DeWitt

Biography:
Scott began his ministry at HEFC in 2017. He and his wife Dani (Danielle) have been married for 26 years and have three children- Zac, Abby and Anna. Scott has spent nearly 30 years in church work including 7 years in Paraguay as a missionary.
“Treasuring Christ First” expresses well Scott‘s desire for himself and the church and is a theme that threads its way through his preaching and interactions. Scott also serves on the Wellspring Pregnancy and Health Center where both men and women can find help and solutions during the months and years when they are blessed with one or more children.
Scott is an Iowa native and chooses to root for the Hawkeyes instead of the Nebraska Huskers (we’ll forgive him for that). When not at church Scott enjoys time with his family, playing and watching all kinds of sports, and rebuilding cars that some would consider junk.
